Happy's Pizza Rebrand

BRANDING, STUDENT WORK

MISSION

To rebrand a company or business whose brand identity may have needed some adjustment.

CONCEPT

I chose to rebrand Happy's Pizza. I saw it very important to retain the elements that expressed the character's spirited personality. The new logotype consists of a new sans serif, Poetsen One, which is not too rigid and not too aged like its predecessor, and the new brandmark is a winking emoticon. It is a contemporary symbol with a smile not too enthusiastic but not too shy either. It keeps particular elements like the hat and the initials “H.P.” which have become a ligature, and the colors have been reduced to red and yellow.
