My Name is Solace

To create 100 haiku posters for the hundred haiku that I've written.

This is an exercise where I explore the best ways to visually depict my haiku. They are constructed with one image and one haiku as the only typography. Though each is intended to be an accurate manifestation of its parent poem, they are also tests of how well the poems as typographic elements can live in the environment of its corresponding photograph.

The title comes from my poem series of the same name where each haiku is a short record of my life experiences and emotions. The poems together, and the collective of their posters, make up the ultimate experience I get from writing and designing them: solace.
