MIRACLE ON ICE
MISSION
To design a poster that communicated the news of a historical event.
IDEA
From a long list of great options, I chose the event best known as the "Miracle on Ice" in which the U.S. won an unbelievable hockey match against the U.S.S.R. in the 1980 Winter Olympics. Combining the image of a medal with inspiring words and using a more quiet tone of red, white, and blue made this poster speak success.
